Title: Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge
Project Description:
The Mission of the First Nations House of Healing is to support a
community based system of healing for Aboriginal people on Vancouver
Island who are affected by the legacy of physical and sexual abuse in
Residential Schools.The project will deliver three levels of
residential healing programs (introductory, basic and intense) to meet
the specific needs of individuals affected by the legacy of physical
and sexual abuse in the residential schools.To deliver summer youth and
early intervention adolescent camps for kids who have been affected by
the intergenerational impact of the residential schools.
