Ki-Low-Na Friendship Centre

The project will restore balance in Survivors and Intergenerationally Impacted peoples lives through the provision of counselling support to heal unresolved trauma and abuse.

The project will provide outreach support activities to build trust between Survivors and the project. Once trust has been built, the community members will be informed of the services offered by the project and will be provided with referrals to the appropriate services.

The project will hold workshops in conjunction with the counselling that are designed to help Survivors reduce feelings of guilt, shame and embarrassment and to teach coping strategies that will strengthen self-esteem and self-worth.
