Title: Beyond IRS: A Treatment Program
Project Description:
The purpose of 'Beyond IRS: A treatment Program' is to deliver two
5-week treatment programs per year for five years to survivors of
Indian Residential Schools (IRS) to heal the legacy of physical and
sexual abuse in the residential school system.
The project team will implement a holistic approach which encompasses and balances contemporary and traditional therapeutic healing practices.
The project will also provide ongoing counselling services to Survivors and Intergenerationally Impacted individuals.
