Garden Hill First Nation Health Directorate

The Garden Hill First Nation - Health Directorate will address healing needs related to physical and sexual abuse in residential schools by offering the following services: Counselling and Advocacy (individual, family and mental health counselling; substance abuse counselling; home visitation program; case management services); Group Programming (social wellness program; community abuse awareness and prevention workshops; grieving workshops; high-risk children workshops; anger management workshops; traditional and contemporary healing workshops); Staff Training (health and linked program staff training; intervention and prevention workshops; abuse awareness; crisis management workshops; staff safety workshops); and Youth Programming (youth vandalism strategy; anger management workshops; youth outdoor experience camps; youth recreation and activity programs).
