Title: Community Circle project - Moving Beyond Survival
Project Description:
The applicant addresses healing needs related to the Legacy of Physical and Sexual Abuse in Residential Schools by bringing awareness, education and holistic healing to the survivors and successive generations. Activities include gatherings, workshops on various subjects such as substance abuse, anger management, grief, loss and change. Counselling is available for guidance in getting the right resource to meet the needs of families. Elders are called upon for their knowledge and wisdom to educate and bring awareness to the Metis target audience.
