Project Title: Trauma Recovery Program
Project Description:
The project will offer the
five week "Embracing Our Human-ness” Program that will address Residential
School Trauma. The program uses the Medicine Wheel model that addresses the
physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of the participants on a daily
basis. The methods used in this activity include the medicine wheel,
therapeutic healing circles, physical activities, cognitive theory, case
management and ceremonies.
