Project Title: PIGIARVIK — Chesterfield Inlet Community Wellness Project
Project Description:
This project will provide counselling, healing circles and traditional
healing activities to Survivors, their families and the community
members of Chesterfield Inlet.
The project will provide healing workshops that will address specific
issues related to the Legacy of Physical and Sexual Abuse in
Residential Schools.
The project will also provide teachings from respected Elders from the
Kivalliq region who will help the strengthen the community culture,
strengthen each community member and assist with the healing process.
