Title: Kaska Cultural & Spiritual Restoration – Guni's Tsi Nedzedundeli' - Let's Go Back To The Land 'The Kaska Project'

Project Description:
The project will provide a combination of Western Psychotherapy and Traditional Therapy to Survivors and community members.

The Family Psychotherapy Program utilizes a therapeutic approach that emphasizes empowerment rather than victimization. Though workshops and careful one-on-one dialogue, survivors discover the context of resistance in their residential school experience. The realization of resistance opens survivors to personal empowerment, and to alternative views of self and relationship.

The Traditional Therapy program will allow for Survivors and community members to receive healing support from a Traditional Therapist that will provide counselling, sweats and healing ceremonies.
