Title: CAIRS Society Outreach and Counselling

Project Description:
The project will provide counselling services for Survivors and their families that uses a holistic model to address the impacts of the Legacy of Physical and Sexual Abuse in Residential Schools. The project will provide talking circles which will allow Survivors and participants to share their stories and to receive support in their healing journeys. The project will provide outreach workshops for former students and Intergenerationally Impacted community members to raise their self-esteem, develop trust and recognize boundaries. The project will enhance public awareness and understanding of the Legacy of Residential Schools through educational sessions for community members and community service providers.
