Project Title: Residential School Community Family Healing Program Project Description: The project will effectively meet the healing needs of our community members and programs will include traditional and clinical ways of healing. We will develop holistic programs that deal with the emotional, physical, mental and emotional needs of the survivors and their families.
Expected Results:
1. That the Residential School Survivors and later generations do not feel alone.
2. To create hope and self empowerment to Survivors and later generations.
3. To create a safe place within families and the community.
4. Later generations will understand the generational impacts that have affected them individually and their families.
5. To assist Survivors and later generations so they may feel more positive about native identity, history and culture.
6. That all participants will begin to work in their own personal issues.
