Project Description:
Windigo
First Nations Council project provides one-on-one Counselling, home
visits, Focus Groups/ Healing Circles, information and referrals to
long-term support and counselling including treatment centres and
aftercare support to the Communities of Cat Lake, North Caribou Lake,
Sachigo Lake, Slate Falls, and Bearskin Lake. They also provide training for staff
to develop their capacities to provide direct counseling and therapy
related to physical and sexual abuse.
