Project Title:
Mamuitutau Ekuanitshit 'rassemblons-nous'
Project Description:
The project proposes 6 steps to address the healing needs of Survivors and their descendants:
1)
Community meetings will be held to identify the program contents and the treatment plans;
2)
Specific training (capacity building) for therapists and stakeholders in working with Survivors/Intergenerationally Impacted;
3)
Prevention awareness program to be developed to address the Legacy of Physical and Sexual Abuse;
4)
Provision of healing activities using mainstream and traditional methods;
5)
After care support for a period of one year; and
6)
Promotion of healthy coping mechanisms.
